Mic Drop, Turning Bollywood Music into a Social Game

ai | storytelling | digital product

the problem

Most social gatherings follow predictable patterns:

  • Passive entertainment (scrolling, TV, background music)

  • Games that lack energy or cultural relevance

  • Awkward silences in mixed groups

There’s a gap for something that is:

  • Interactive

  • Culturally familiar

  • Instantly engaging

the idea

What if a game could:

  • Make people perform, not just play

  • Use Bollywood music as a trigger

  • Turn any room into a stage

Mic Drop was designed as a performance-first card game—where the fun comes from singing, acting, and owning the moment.

How I built this?

This project was built as a system, not just content:

1. Story System

  • Defined repeatable story structures
(setup → conflict → resolution)

  • Created reusable character templates

  • Built a consistent tone: calm, warm, bedtime-friendly

  • Stong moral values at the core of each story

2. Visual Language

  • Soft color palettes

  • Minimal, cozy illustrations

  • Consistent composition for swipeable formats

3. AI as a Co-Creator
AI wasn’t just a tool, it was part of the workflow:

  • Idea generation for stories

  • Character and world-building

  • Image generation for illustrations

  • Iteration and refinement at scale

  • This reduced production time dramatically and made consistency easier.
